NFA Engraving
NFA Engraving
NFA engraving refers to the process of marking firearms and other regulated items in compliance with the National Firearms Act (NFA) in the United States. This engraving is required for items such as suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and machine guns, ensuring that the manufacturer’s name, location, and serial number are permanently affixed to the item. The engraving must meet specific depth and size requirements set by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to ensure durability and legibility. Proper NFA engraving is crucial for legal compliance and helps maintain accurate records for law enforcement and regulatory purposes.
Lake Laser Engraving will meet or exceed NFA engraving requirements.
